When you follow the road D102e towards Soulac,, take the exit Le Gurp, and then drive to the beach.
The bunkers are clearly visible and it is a 5min walk from the parking place.

The beach is filled with all kind of bunkers and structures, just like at so many beaches in this region. There are several casemates, type 612 and 667 to cover the beaches, in between are three special bunkers type 600; normally they have their emplacement for the gun on the roof, these ones have their emplacement in front of the bunker in an additional tobruk (type 65a) In the middle of the group lays the 627 artillery observation bunker; it's armoured covering plate on the roof has been removed but it is still a nice bunker.

Le Gurp, Le Gurp Nord.

This location can be found, south of Le Gurp. It's a 15min walk from Le Gurp to the south, in the direction of the camping Euronat.

At this site several flanking bunkers, type 667, and emplacements, type 600, have been built. In the dunes is a 627 bunker for artillery observation but unfortunately we missed it. A bit further down the beach are some small emplacements visible, presumably for a 5cm KwK.
